Berga Bazaar is a building ensemble in the center of Riga. Located between Elizabetes, Dzirnavu and Marijas streets. The author of the project is architect Konstantīns Pēkšēns. An architectural monument of local importance.
The ensemble was built according to the design of Pēkšēns by industrialist, urban planner and public figure Kristaps Bergs. It was intended as a pedestrian shopping complex, which would include a merchants' yard, an arcade and a gallery. The buildings were built around the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Over time, it became an international shopping center. In total, there were 131 shops here, as well as various workshops, a printing house, and a restaurant.
