The Philosophers’ Residence project is located on a landscaped territory of 4200 square metres. The Project consists of two 21 and 20-story apartment buildings interconnected with an underground parking lot for 122 cars. There are 114 apartments in the Project with one to four bedrooms. Apartment areas: 37 m2 to 164 m2 with an option of adjoining even in the latest stages of construction. Each apartment includes a terrace from 5.5 to 100 square metres, with a width of no less than 1.5 metres. Large light windows and low sills with gorgeous view. The ceiling height is 2.91 m up to the 10th floor, 3.11 m – on higher floors and 3.20-6.75 m – in penthouses. Inhabitants will also have access to an open air parking lot with space for 120 cars.
All apartments are offered with full finish. There are two finish options (Harmony and Liberty) that are identical in terms of material quality, but differ in color solutions. Construction of both buildings takes place at the same time, and their commissioning is scheduled not later than December 2018. It is possible to reserve an apartment at the construction stage by signing a preliminary purchase agreement for the apartment property and making a guarantee deposit payment of 20% of the transaction amount.
In the process of developing the technical tasks of Philosophers’ Residence, all parameters have outperformed construction regulations of the European Union, corresponding to the highest demands of security and comfort, allowing the project to be included in the "Premium" class projects. 
The developer of the Philosophers' Residence project is the well-known developer of the "Premium" class projects "R. EVOLUTION CITY". The authors of the building project are SIA "Arhis arhitekti" under the direction of architect Andris Kronbergs. Construction work is carried out by SIA "VELVE". The project's total investment will reach € 20 million.
The unique characteristic of the project’s architecture appears in the position of the first apartment floor – it is lifted 14 metres above the ground. Only support pillars and the large entrance hall with a ceiling height of 12 metres are lowered to the ground level. Such solution allowed to effectively increase the recreation area. On the ground level under a roof, which is supposed as the 2nd storey of the building, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts have been situated. In the territory of the project, which is being made as a recreation area for its residents, you will also find an artificial pond, terraces for Ping-Pong and Novus tables, recreation area with two children’s playgrounds, and a place for meditative relaxation with a view on the Philosophers’ Alley and shores of the Daugava. In common hallways with ceilings of 13.5 m high there will be a huge library, concierge desk and place for meeting guests.
24-hour security provides safety of the residents: surveillance cameras, on-door speaker phones, apartments are hooked to alarm systems with a remote for alarming the security firm, chip access cards, automatic gates controlled by a remote. The closed underground parking is equipped with natural ventilation and sprinkler fire extinguishing system. Buildings are equipped with designed, noise-free, fast, panoramic elevators provided by "Kone".
A special attention has been drawn to the electrical and thermal performance of the buildings. Double-pane glass with heat transmission of 0.5, three-layered panel walls, modern heating and ventilation systems. A three-stage water filtration system structures the water until it is ready for water procedures and food preparation.
The architecture of the building retains the general idea of the complex – visually it resembles a heap of books, where each floor is a new book, a new content with its philosophical approach to life. The facade decoration of the buildings will be made of ceramic material, which has self-cleaning properties. The buildings are unique because they are planned so that from absolutely all apartments there is a view of the center of Riga and Old Riga.
The height of the living room ceiling is 7 metres, panoramic windows from floor to ceiling with a constantly changing picture of the surrounding city. Living room, study, kitchen not included in the area of guest reception, and spacious guest area. On the second, "bedroom" level each apartment has its own Master Bedroom. On the third level, a large terrace with an area of around 60 square metres it is possible to set up a swimming-pool under the open sky, a tanning salon or barbeque – all this surrounded with 3-metre glass walls protecting from wind and making any season pleasant.
History of the land on which the Philosophers’ Residence is being constructed, is saturated with the spirit of philosophy. On this land resided people whose life goal was to serve the planet’s philosophical concept. German philosophers Hamann and Herder were involved in the like-minded group of Goethe, titled “Storm and Stress”. The main goal of the group was to reduce the excessive education of religions and dogmatisms, and form a new generation of thinking and creating. For the contemporaries to remember the story and not to forget the people who were living and working in Latvia, the authors of the project named the towers – HERDER and HAMANN, and the whole project – PHILOSOPHERS’ RESIDENCE.
Philosophers’ Residence is located in Riga, on the left bank of Daugava, Ranka Dambis 34. The location of the project is truly unique: only a 20-minute walk to the Old Riga, a 15-minute ride to the airport, and 20 minutes to the largest Baltic seaside resort – Jurmala. Long-term development plans in the left bank area open a set of possibilities for relaxation and business. All infrastructure objects lie only a 10-minute walk away.
